comprised of a team of 8 experienced teachers.They
are native French speakers, passionate about the language and
earned a Bachelor or Master’s degree. They have much experience
to make your learning fun, pleasant and efficient!
The Languages Institute was founded to introduce the Bay
Area to the French Language and Culture. Languages Institute Inc. offers
an exhaustive
program- from an introduction of the French language to
preschoolers to the option to earn a Master’s degree from the
University of Paris, through their learning distance program.
Unlike any other generalist language school, we teach primarily
one
language-French. Our passion, our investment in teaching materials
and our commitment makes a big difference in the way you will
learn French.
In 2005 as we grew we decided to introduce other languages such
as Spanish and Italian.
Our teachers have a real passion for the language and can use
an extensive choice of the newest teaching materials, directly
imported from France, to make your experience fun and effective.
Rather than students we see learners, rather than teachers we
see learning consultants. We know our students as individuals and
work with them in the spirit of cooperation. We customize our
programs to your needs, goals, schedule and motivations. We offer
an extensive program and we always make it fun because learning
while "playing" is the best method!
For obvious quality reasons, we keep our classes small. You can
join a group class up to 8 students in a relaxed atmosphere or you
can choose the intensity and flexibility of private instruction,
as well as the friendly semi-private lesson (2 students/friends) .
We use the newest French studying materials and your learning
time will include video, audio, colorful and creative sheets, and
software.
Students can use our video lab anytime during business hours-
will allow you to work on what we believe to be the most
challenging part about learning a language-understanding. The
tapes are especially made for students of French, and are called
by French teachers "The Rolls-Royce" of the French
videos.
And in 2004 we’ll offer a Multi-Media Lab for even more
interaction and accent reduction!
We are accredited by The Paris Chamber of Commerce to offer TEF
tests and we offer classes especially designed to prepare for TEF.

We recently have been offering Spanish classes as well as
Italian and ESL, French stays however the primary language taught
